Wastewater treatment inspired by healthy soil
Inside the BioPod, a layered filter bed separates solids from liquid and gives worms and other organisms a stable, oxygen-rich environment. Those organisms process the retained material while wastewater moves through the filter.
A small air pump provides gentle ventilation. Treated water then passes through final filtration and is pumped to the approved land application system.

Compact and practical to install
The treatment process is contained in a lightweight polymer tank that connects to normal household drainage through a single inlet pipe. Its compact footprint can help on established or difficult-access sites.
- Single-tank treatment
- No separate black and grey water plumbing required
- Quiet operation
- Audible and visual alarm
- Residential and larger system options

What Drainage Systems does
We are an approved WaterFlow installer for the greater Waikato, South Auckland, and the Coromandel. We assess the site, compare the BioPod against the other treatment options, then complete the council design. Once consent is granted we supply, install, and commission the system.
WaterFlow publishes the current brochures, owner guides, alarm checklists, specifications, and capacities for each model. Use the link below for those, and talk to us about the configuration your site needs.
- Site and soil assessment
- Comparison against primary and other secondary options
- Design, supply, installation, and commissioning
