01

Treatment driven by worms and filter media

NaturalFlow treats wastewater by passing it through a living filter bed. Worms and other soil organisms work through the retained solids while the liquid moves down through bark and natural filter media, in much the same way a forest floor processes organic material.

Because the treatment itself relies on those natural processes rather than a blower or mechanical aerator, the system runs quietly and has low ongoing running costs.

02

Where the site still needs power

On sloping sites the fall across the property can often carry treated water to the land application area without any pump at all. On flatter sites a small pump may be needed to lift treated water to the disposal field, so the system is not automatically power-free at every property.

That distinction matters at design stage, and it is one of the first things we check when we look at the levels across your site.

03

Which properties it suits

NaturalFlow is a modular range, so the configuration is matched to the property rather than the property being fitted around one fixed product.

  • Homes on lifestyle and rural sections
  • Baches, tiny homes, and holiday properties with intermittent use
  • Off-grid sites where minimising power draw matters
  • Larger residential, community, and light commercial applications

What Drainage Systems does

We are an approved WaterFlow installer for the greater Waikato, South Auckland, and the Coromandel. We assess the site, work through the treatment and land application options, then complete the council design. Once consent is granted we supply, install, and commission the system.

WaterFlow publishes the current brochures, owner guides, alarm checklists, specifications, and capacities for each model. Use the link below for those, and talk to us about the configuration your site needs.
